What is Bachata? Saturday’s: 3pm-Beginner, 4pm-Intermediate, 5pm-Advance
Bachata is a dance that originated in the Domincan Republic. It is a rural romantic dance that was started in the country side, and its sound is defined by the “requinto” a small acoustic guitar. Diego teaches Dominican & European style Bachata, and in the Vancouver area Bachata has grown to become the second most popular Latin dance next to Salsa.

What is Cumbia? Sunday 4pm
The most popular dance rhythm in Colombia and the one that has been the most widely spread throughout Latin America, even more so than SALSA. Cumbia became popular throughout Latin America and the Caribbean starting in the 1950s. The style is heavy on guitars, accordions, brass, and is played in 4/4 time. Cumbia has a massive appeal in Mexico, Central America, Chile, Argentina, not to mention everywhere in-between... So come & learn Colombia’s national dance Cumbia!!!
